We have contracted independent company to conduct this survey for the University. People Insight are hugely experienced in running this type of survey and many other universities use its survey services.
Its online platform – which we have named UoR View – will provide efficient, independent analysis of survey responses to identify issues and common themes, allowing us to formulate action plans at institutional and School/Directorate level to respond to them.
We will also use this platform to run more frequent ‘pulse surveys’, to gather feedback on certain projects or issues over the coming years.
What to expect next
We have shared the key findings of the survey with UEB who are thinking about plans to address some of the issues identified. Local action planning is being led at School/Directorate level and their plans will be shared with their teams directly. A full summary of the survey responses and action taken or planned will be published later in the year, with examples also shared of where improvements have been made as a result.
