What is the RED Global Engagement Award?
The 伊人直播app Experience and Development (RED) Global Engagement Award is one of the 伊人直播app’s Official Skills Awards. It offers students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the wider world, enhance their employability, and become more globally engaged.
The award is designed to help you explore global issues, appreciate cultural diversity, and reflect on what it means to be a socially responsible global citizen. According to the University’s definition, a globally engaged individual “appreciates and respects diversity, is open-minded, willing to learn from other cultures, and aware of global issues.”
Through this award, you'll take part in learning, activities, and reflections that demonstrate your commitment to making the world a better place - something many employers value highly. The award is also flexible, so you can complete it alongside your studies at your own pace.

How do I complete it?
The award is made up of two stages: Points Submission and Advocacy. To successfully complete the award, you must:
- Earn 25 points by completing a range of activities with a global and cultural focus
- Reflect on your learning, demonstrating how you’ve become more globally engaged and better prepared to challenge preconceptions and advocate for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
- Complete a short post-award survey to reflect on your overall experience
