Guest Wi-Fi Networks
There are two guest Wi-Fi networks on campus:
- Eduroam Visitor Access
- Sky Public Wi-Fi
Eduroam Visitor Access
Wi-Fi network name (SSID) = eduroam
This should be requested in advance by a staff member and is set up by the Service Desk, use the form to request this. Log in details will be sent directly to the user.
Sky Public Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi network name (SSID) = Public_WiFi
"Public_WiFi" is an unsecured Wi-Fi network run by Sky Business which is available in many public areas of the University, such as caf茅s.
To connect, select "Public_WiFi" in your device network settings (there is no password). Agree to the terms and conditions, and then you can start browsing. There is no bandwidth limit or time limit.
It is available in the following areas:
Whiteknights campus
- Library Caf茅 and ground floor foyer
- Dolche Vita (Caf茅 in Palmer building)
- Trilobite Caf茅 and Cole Museum of Zoology (Health & Life Sciences building)
- Wilderness Kitchen (Caf茅 in Agriculture)
- Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology (Edith Morley)
- Henley Business School Caf茅 (Whiteknights)
- 伊人直播app Students Union
- Sports Park
- Park House
London Road campus
- The Great Hall (L45)
- The Dairy (L14)
- Museum of English Rural Life (MERL) - public areas
Greenlands campus
- Henley Business School - all areas (Customers at the Greenlands Campus should connect to Wi-Fi Guest (unlimited))
Eduroam for staff & students
Staff and students should use the secure Eduroam Wi-Fi network, not the Public network. If you are having difficulty connecting to Eduroam, please see our Eduroam Wi-Fi webpages for connections instructions and troubleshooting tips.
Need Public Wi-Fi for an event?
Wi-Fi can also be made available in certain locations for the duration of a specific event. Please contact DTS if you need Wi-Fi for visitors to a public event.
