The 伊人直播app welcomes you to Langley Mead for National Meadows Day on Saturday 5 July!
Members of the local community, and beyond, are invited to learn more about the restoration of Langley Mead, which is owned and managed by the 伊人直播app, to a traditional floodplain meadow. Visitors will also get to learn more about the wide range of plants and wildlife that can be found on the nature reserve.
The University will have a selection of free walking maps and guides available from our gazebo at the Aborfield Road car park (what3words - ///flies.wire.snows).
Our guided walks will also begin here, they include:
11:00 – Exploring the pond, a walk for the kids (approx. 45 minutes)
13:00 – Wild about Flora & Fauna (approx. 1 hour)
15:00 – Langley Mead: Past, Present and Future (approx. 1 hour)
Our very own, Louise Hutchinson will be leading you on a walk and running an interactive session around Langley Mead. You will get to find out about the pollinators and biodiversity and learn about how you can get involved! You can meet Louise at 12pm at the gazebo, what insects can you find?
12:00 - Pollinator Session (approx.1 hour)
This event is free to attend and does not require a ticket, we would kindly ask you to book a ticket for the walks so we can track of numbers!
